Hey There

Hi, friends... I’m happy you’ve joined me here as I continue to explore the possibilities of a world with greater economic opportunities for all, which I believe is what Bitcoin enables.

I believe in the imminent decentralization of finance and economies, led by Bitcoin, and its related blockchain technologies.  I think this is both important, and good for the world. Bitcoin has the power to reduce barriers to wealth; it provides access to financial opportunity for the 100%, and can bridge the gap for the underrepresented.

I believe everyone can and should own bitcoin. I want to share and exchange knowledge to help make this as easy as possible for anyone, especially those who are less technically inclined.

About Me

I was introduced to Bitcoin in 2012 and have been a bitcoin investor since 2013 -- as well as a student of all related crypto and token technologies. The more I learn, explore, and question, the more certain I am that Bitcoin stands alone. There has never been a technology or an asset like Bitcoin, and while it takes time and effort to understand it, this has been the most rewarding learning of my life.

After beginning my professional career on Wall Street, then later moving into technology and startup investing, I feel this is the place I was always meant to be:  my key focus today is to advance the adoption of Bitcoin and the development of Bitcoin-related technologies to contribute to a more hopeful and abundant future.

Through MITA Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund that I co-founded in 2013, I am an advisor and investor in early-stage tech companies in Mexico and LatAm. I am also a mentor for the Google for Startups LatAm and MassChallenge Mexico non-equity acceleration programs. I host/organize the annual MITA TechTalks; the next one is now being planned for early 2024 in Punta Mita, Mexico -- with a Bitcoin focus.

I love learning and am always interested in making new connections with those who share my curiosity about life (and, Bitcoin!).
